Shiran is an absolute monarchy. Our monarch, Milton Obete, is the holy leader of this country. We have a petroleum-based economy and 90% of our export earnings come from oil. The north has a subarctic climate, where skiing and sleighing is possible. 50% of the country (the southern part) is desert, where Shiranians and tourists can enjoy desert tours and camel treks. The centre of Shiran has a continental climate with the coastal areas enjoying a maritime climate.
